Cancellation Policy

CheerThread items are made to order, so cancellation depends on one thing: whether production has started.

The 12-hour cancellation window

You can cancel or edit any order free of charge within 12 hours of placing it, provided the item has not already entered production. This covers cancelling the whole order, changing the size or colour, and correcting the shipping address.

There is no cancellation fee. We do not charge a restocking or handling fee for cancellations made inside this window.

When production starts

Orders are released to our print partner automatically 12 hours after payment is confirmed. During busy periods a facility may pick up an order sooner, so the earlier you contact us, the better the chance we can stop it.

Orders already in production

Once an item has entered production it cannot be cancelled, changed or refunded, because it has been printed specifically for you and cannot be resold. If your order has already started, we will tell you when you contact us and confirm its status.

This does not affect your rights if the item arrives damaged, misprinted or incorrect — those cases are always covered under our Refund & Return Policy.

How to cancel

Email support@cheerthread.com with the subject line “Cancel order #[your order number]”.
Include your order number and the email address used at checkout.
We reply within 24 hours (Mon–Sat, 9AM–5PM EST) to confirm whether the order was stopped.

Refunds for cancelled orders

Approved cancellations are refunded in full — item price and shipping — to the original payment method. The refund is issued within 1 business day of approval and typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Cancellations by CheerThread

We may cancel and fully refund an order if the item cannot be produced, if payment cannot be verified, if the shipping address is outside the United States, or if the order appears fraudulent. You will be notified by email if this happens.
